New Years dinner prep is proceeding. The brisket continues low and slow. The chicken marsala is done. Baking had a minor mishap; the rugelach ended up coming out like biscuits, so that experiment ended early, but we’ve got enough sweets to get us through the evening.

Oh, and Game of Thrones was on. And all I could think of was Billy Idol.
