We’ll need to wait to hear about any casualties, but that Iran’s launching a second wave in such short order suggests that they’re showing Trump that they mean business and wont back down.

Trump’s fragile ego means that he’ll need to one-up them. That is bad news, because it just means both sides will escalate things.

Trump started this - dating back to abrogating the JCPOA and then slapping sanctions. Taking out Suleimani was the thing that pushed Iran over the edge. Now we stare at the abyss with no one in Trumpworld sane enough or competent enough to de-escalate, because Trump is the fragile snowflake who doesn’t listen to anyone who tells him what he needs to hear.
