Two weeks ago today was a very difficult and worrying day.

Today is much better than that day.

I was scared about today and thinking that they should have moved it inside for everyone’s safety. I’m glad that I was so wrong about this. The inauguration ceremony in front of the capitol building was a great celebration of functional democracy that emasculated the memory of the building under siege a couple weeks ago.
