I have to disagree with this. I would hate to see an asshole like this get a pass in the afterlife just because he “saw the light” on his deathbed. It would do nothing to erase the crap he wrote during his life.

I here you, but it is my belief that one should never wish that someone goes to Hell. There may be cases where we are as certain as mortal humans can be that someone died unrepentant, but we should still never want someone to go to Hell nor be glad they are there.
