Yeah, because leaving infrastructure that was damaged by hurricane Sandy wouldn’t be a money loser in NYC and NJ. Watching NJ tourist dollars taking a dive next summer if left in it’s current state would also not lead to further loses incurred by the state of NJ. Yep. Winning.
