So I interviewed with a company last Wednesday. The manager I spoke with told me they had other screens that still had to be done so it would be a few days before I heard anything. With luck, there will be good news. SRV knows I need it since my UI benefits are gone, the greedy assholes in the GOP refuse to pass an extension, and money is getting ridiculously tight. I’m trying my best to stay positive.

While I wait, I’ve kept looking at and applying to other companies just so I know that I’m doing everything possible. I have truly come to loathe the automated application process. Give me a direct line in to talk to someone any day. It’s absolutely ludicrous that you can apply to a company on a Saturday afternoon and receive a rejection from that same company at 9am on Monday, as if anyone there even bothered to read anything they were sent. Bitch plz.
