As someone who survived his 20s on tips, this is fuckin’ huge. I remember when they started estimating tips as taxable income under Reagan. Any time someone tipped less than 15% it actually cost the waiter money in taxes as they were taxed on that as income.

ALWAYS TIP IN CASH. (Even if the gratuity is included in the bill)
