What kind of inginer are you that you didn’t have to take Engineering Math 401 and 402?

Mechanical. It’s probably a matter of different schools labelling the math courses differently. As far as I know, the only degrees requiring completion of math above the level I completed are actual Mathematics degrees and graduate level physics degrees.

Also, requirements may have changed. I got my degree 14 years ago.
