re: #298 Gus 802

Example: I have a chronic (and inherited), but minor, health problem that requires me to have a blood test every year or so, in order to get a script written.

I can’t just go and order the test myself because then the insurance company won’t cover it. Has to be a doctor.

But, and this is important, it doesn’t have to be a doctor that graduated summa cum laude from Harvard Medical School! It’s a simple blood test, I could fill the form out myself except I don’t have “MD” after my name. Anybody with an MD, DO, or a Nurse Practitioner will do. It would be quite ok if some Indian doctor charged me some nominal amount to simply sign the form. I understand the disease quite well, and it can be taken care of with the smallest of effort.

So I’m quite fine with the importation of doctors from India, or where ever. Bring ‘em in.
