Minnesota isn’t releasing enrollment numbers yet because they’re not 100% certain how to track enrollment, but they have confirmed that there have been people purchasing plans and signing up, despite computer glitches along the way.
There are about 5 steps in the end-to-end process, and while a simple case might be done spontaneously on-line, that’s not a very good idea. Getting registered and choosing a plan ought to take some reflection, and that’s after the customer gets his eligibility, any cost reductions, and has time to review the cost/benefit of the plans offered. That’s why the season is open all the way to March.
