The man in question here used to be a Libertarian, is an economist, and a business owner.

He points out how libertarianism has always been a fascist movement, with early on an actual religious arm (called “I Am” who worshipped the “God of Gold”), and has never supported democracy.

The “liberty” in libertarianism has always meant “economic liberty” (to hoard money), not “political liberty.” This is why prominent libertarians such as Milton Friedman, Peter Theil, and the Heritage Foundation keep getting caught saying the quiet part out loud (they are opposed to democracy).
