A 1984 Squier Japan E Series Stratocaster. Plenty beat up, but plays and sounds exactly the way it should. And it was cheap! For anyone looking for a vintage Strat for a mere pittance, these are the way to go.
Squier, you ask? Why, yes! These Japanese E Series Squiers gave the American Fenders of the era a run for their money. Build and electronics are on a par with the last couple of American Strats I’ve had.
