What the green-tea party types hope to do is replicate the Tea Party’s taking over of the Republican party by making it so that the Democratic party believes that the only way it will win is to kiss up to them.

The problem is that the tea party had a huge advantage. If they lost, the country wasn’t going to go to shit, they weren’t going to lose Medicare or Medicaid, their kids would still get to go to school, and a whole host of other things. If the left loses, more and more will be taken away.
