There’s 10 million people upstate who believe the governor’s primary job is to insulate them from the city and its needs; they sure don’t want to pay for it. “You’re so do damn rich, you got your Wall Street, pick up your own tab.”
That’s a good point. The endorsement I read this morning made a big deal over how she’s ‘ready to take on the MTA,’ and riding the subway to a presser was one of her big early events (the subway was late).
Folks up in Schenectady don’t really give a rat’s butt about the MTA.
