That’s exactly WHY they’re in trouble. Should they have done it- of course not. But until they come to appreciate the rule of law, they’ll continue to repeat their own history of blood and soil warfare.

some people feel that Europe will yet avoid massive violence…I wonder how…rule of what law?…it seems to me to be an unavoidable showdown…the two side want it and eventually they will have it…imo
