It can go the other way around too, where a game originally designed for a console feels strange playing it on a PC with keyboard/mouse. Of course, a real game controller can always be added to a PC, while the consoles aren’t so flexible.

I still think a computer port of an orignally consol based bame is not as bad as trying to play an RTS port of a PC game. Chiefly because RTSs.require you to have a mouse to easily click on the units or buildings you want to select, and that does not even go into a game where you have heavy micro of units special abilities.
