Funny how in deeply red states like mine, voting is just as easy as it is in Oregon (mail voting).

It is only in places where elections would be close that suddenly all sorts of ID is required, polling places are closed, voting hours are restricted, &c.

A solution to the voter ID problem they created would be a national ID card, essentially issued at birth. Wingnuts however are convinced that somehow would be the “mark of the Beast” or the government tracking them.

There is no winning against illogic.

A related cousin of that is how the GOP is all about considering splitting electoral college votes in purple states but not at all about it in places like Texas. They can’t win honestly.
