He doesn’t know how politics works. He doesn’t know that he already had 45-48 votes willing to go along with this crap show.

He only had to convince another 2-5 Senators, and he failed. His negotiating prowess is nothing but shiite. He can’t negotiate his way out of a paper bag.

There’s a reason for that. He’s a con artist who has no grasp of policy, how to overcome political differences, or anything else.

But when this fails, he wants to make sure that it’s not his fault. It’s gonna be someone else’s fault he couldn’t seal the deal.
