Don’t know. I like anise, in mild doses. As a child rootbeer was my favorite carbonated drink.

But I’ve never had a fondness for dark licorice.

Speaking of genetics, yes, cilantro tastes sort of soapy to me. And I can smell asparagus in my urine. Both are associated with particular alleles.
