So, we’ve got another mass shooting in Kentucky. 4 dead. Shooter dead too.

Shooter? White guy with a fucking arsenal of guns.

The GOP and NRA and Trump wont comment. They’re watering the tree of liberty with the blood of and endless parade of victims.

Strong gun control laws do reduce gun violence. How do we know? Because Australia and Japan and Europe have a fraction of the gun violence the US does. Because states like NY have far lower gun violence per capita rates than lax states.

But idiots spew nonsensical ravings when saying where’s the proof. As if the CDC stats, the nonstop mass shootings that happen like clockwork, and tens of thousands of needless deaths every year. Add to that the suicides (those who use guns are far more successful in their efforts than other methods).

It’s all around us.

I thought maybe, just maybe the consensus would change when Republican congressmen were shot at.

Instead it only made them call for legalizing silencers and requiring all states to honor the loosest gun laws.

I’ve sadly come to the conclusion that mass shootings will continue unchecked until the guns are turned on the rich.

When the guns are finally turned on the rich and a significant number of them are killed or wounded then the Congress will not just pass gun control laws, they will pass gun confiscation laws after the rich put enough bribes in their pockets.
