I was always of the opinion that a significant share of Bernie Sanders “support” and “momentum” was just weapons-grade ratfucking. And the idealists in the campaign and among his real supporters were too far off in cloud-cuckoo land to notice it.

I lean that way myself while conceding he had genuine support from a lot of people I think may be well meaning but are dupes.
