What makes you think Hannity needs kompromat to be driven to lick authoritarian boots?

A lot of these folks want an authoritarian system, so long as it enforces their whims and doesn’t gore their oxen.

Same with Trump people in general. They aren’t deluded, they literally think the ideal system is one where they get to do whatever they want…hurt who they want, fuck how they want…while “other” people are tightly controlled.

There’s no depth. It’s basic power/sex stuff tarted up with a coating of cultural tropes with hues of “tradition.” The stuff they believe in, they alter at will to suit what they want in the moment. Which is why all of their explanatory constructs—their religion, their economic models, their social models—deliberately include a contempt for critique or analysis.

Hence the endless self-contradiction that they refuse to acknowledge as such.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.
