BTW: Remember the “flag burning” amendments that many Republicans supported a while back?

I believe these were just an attempt to capture the hearts and minds of a certain segment of voters, and no serious effort was made to try to implement/ratify them.

I’m thinking this is a similar stunt. It makes me long for the days of “flag burning” amendments.
