They’re bred for a totally different culture than the one they’re presently dealing with. They’d be much more at home in a monarchy or dictatorship, where those who failed to heed their “advice” would be cast out or executed for daring to think they knew better than their leaders.

Anything short of a monarchy and they’re screwed.

As much as Trump was shunned by NY society before he ran for president (and make no mistake, he was - NY Old Money loathes him), it’ll be even worse when he’s out of office. Jared and Ivanka now have that stink on them, too. They’ll never be accepted back into the cocktail party circuit after this.

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole family abandoned NYC and went where they were more welcome. Moscow, perhaps - if Putin will have them once they’re no longer useful.
