Lots of things like that. How many people understand that line in “Johnny B Goode” about “strumming to the rhythm that the drivers made”
was about the steady rhythm of the main wheels of a steam locomotive (the Drivers) as the piston was pushed back and forth by the steam? It’s a sound and rhythm lost to someone who has never seen or heard a steam engine at speed.
