All true, but I can see a lot of problems reintegrating the two populations, and it would be massively expensive for the South, while I can see a lot of resentments on the part of the Northerners as the “poor cousins” after decades of considering themselves as the True Koreans. The Southerners would probably resent spending their money on bringing the North up to speed.
