I have to agree with that 100%. The GOP Post-Trump is a scary thought because I think they could do even worse.

That cesspit of Satan isn’t getting any less malignant under Trump. Anyone who thinks the GOP will go back to ‘normal’ Reagan/W Bush era levels of Republican evil after Trump is deluded.
