Ladies (and gentlemen that never learned)…you too can drive a manual transmission.

It is fun and makes you more a part of the car. May I suggest starting with a small VW or small Ford like a Focus. They are so easy to ‘clutch’ you can almost pop it and it will still catch and take off. To me small cars and engines are so easy to clutch as the engine revs and the clutch take up are almost matched without even hitting much gas. Modern computer control is so good anymore…it has improved everything so much.

And a side benefit for everyone…you can’t drive a manual and do any of that dangerous stuff like talk or text, eat or apply makeup and fuss with your hair.

And no…I am not saying all women do any of the above…just the ones you see doing it…and the men doing it too. Win win!

Bolded part not so true unfortunately. I’ve managed to eat burger, fries, and drink Dr Pepper while doing stop-n-go traffic on I-76. You just need to be a little nimble doing the shifting while still holding the burger in one-hand. (Or temporarily holding the steering wheel steady with your knee.) O_o
