On the topic of media annihilation rather than military, Wonkette explains how FCC Chairman Ajit Pai is trying to ram through the idea of Sinclair Broadcasting acquiring a majority of television stations without actually claiming they are, by reviving the old UHF rule that doesn’t really apply.
They include a map showing what Sinclair would actually own if they are successfull (virtually the whole country would be covered by them).
