They call Arizona a “gold star” state for the completeness of its open carry laws.

Long rifles are perfectly legal to carry there. The state has preëmption laws in place against municipalities trying to outlaw it.

In other words, open carry isn’t allowed for liberals.

If that is the reason for tear gas (open carry of rifles and shotguns) I eagerly await the NRA’s condemnation of tear-gassing II Amendment supporters. (Won’t happen.)
