Oh, I don’t either but I do believe he did work himself through the ranks in politics despite having a Senator father= Congressman, Senate candidate, RNC Chair, CIA Director, Ambassador to China, and then VP. I have my disagreements with the man but I do think he was something who wasn’t a silver spoon fund like his son or especially General Admiral President Bonespurs.

And he did things by the book. Leading up to Gulf War I, his fixer Jim Baker worked for months to put together that coalition. That’s about the best I can say for anyone in that administration, though.

The Trump administration does not only not go by the book, they want to burn the book.
