They really want a Civil War do-over. And this time THE YANKEES HAVE DRONES AND F-16s.

They think that most/all of the military will support them, because only conservatives - and RW conservatives at that - join the military.

They believe that because their cause is just and they’re more willing to fight that they will win - one wolf will overwhelm any herd of sheep.

They have created this strawman image of “liberal”, and think it real.

So yes, they want a do-over, and what the yankees think they have just doesn’t matter.
