Just in case anybody here hasn’t caught on yet, Obama isn’t bailing out the auto companies, he’s bailing out the UAW. The stockholders will get next to nothing. The bondholders will get very little. The UAW will own GM - or what’s left of it.

Gee—it is the ‘70’s —only this time we’re living in East Germany. The UAW will end up building American versions of the Trabant.
