10 months after Kerry lost to Bush in 2004, please tell me anyone who predicted that Obama would be the “leader” of the Dems come 08’
10 months after Gore lost to Bush in 2000 tell me anyone that would ahve said it would be Kerry in 04’
After Clinton destroyed Dole in the fall of 1996 tell me anyone (cept for MAYBE Rove) that would have told you Bush would be the standard bearer for the repubs come 2000

It is way too early to site a “leader” of the Repubs at this time. It’s been that way for the party out of power fror decades
