I HATE THIS STUPID CLICHE!

I don’t know why so many people confuse “justice” with “bringing back the dead.”

Who ever started this stupid meme of “it won’t bring back the dead.” Has anyone ever, in the history of the world, ever claimed that prosecuting an evildoer “brings back the dead”?

OK carry on, rant over.

Understandable.
I think, though, it’s just a reference to the fact that justice is imperfect.
