Speaking of walkabout, I finally saw that movie decades after it came out. It was good, if a bit depressing at the end.
I’ve heard of it, but never seen it. Just read Roger Ebert’s review of it and I can see why.
We don’t easily process ambiguity and when it involves the race of people we dispossessed, understanding simply dries up.
I’m going to keep an eye out for it.
