I got dragged by some commentators here when the reboot of the show was announced, with variations of “well, let’s wait and see what happens.”

To be fair, I don’t own a television set so I wouldn’t be able to see her show whether I wanted to or not.

I am surprised how fast a threatened boycott of ABC ended her show - a matter of hours.

Looking across social media I see the usual suspects (conservatives) complaining about Freeze Speech (ignoring as usual that pushing back against such statements is also free speech).

I don’t recall being dragged but I was very clear about how her getting the platform was bullshit and one or two folks disagreed and wanted to somehow separate her vileness from the show.
