As far as i can tell that’s been their game plan for the last 40 years. Fuel wall street till it crashes making a lot of money on the way. The Democrats takes over and are forced to clean up the mess, usually that means slashing social programs hurting their own base. The base then turns republican and they (R) get reelected, Rinse and repeat.
