I believe that he’s got right to fire the SSA administrators. That’s not the case with DeJoy at USPS. Biden would need the Board of Governors at the USPS to dismiss DeJoy.

My gut feeling is that he’s trying to maintain some continuity all while trying to move things forward. USPS and SSA are two parts where he’s running into the obstructionist treasonweasel GOPers Trump installed.

Continuity of government is the other reason I forgot to put in my post, and it is a big one. People underestimate just how much gets disrupted when there is a mass exodus of seasoned and trained personnel.
