She’s not holding back…she’s making it crystal clear that the president decided to end the war and no amount of armchair quarterbacking from the media is going to change that.

while it’s true the final decision was biden’s, the ‘war’ was over long ago.
something like 2500 troops remained before the evac?
that’s not even a war in name only
it’s a protection detail (no disrespect to the troops)

and sure, biden ‘could’ have about faced
ignored the agreement
on his own deployed tens of thousands of new troops
with zero international support or cooperation.
to what goal? for what purpose? how would he explain it, let alone politically sell it?

it would have been a foreign policy and long term credibility nightmare disaster for him, the democrats, and the country.
