If I recall correctly Dan Quayle had a problem with the TV character of Murphy Brown. Even when the producers of that show said it is only a story.

Holy cow. I forgot about that. It’s amazing though how times have changed. I think we might be suffering from a certain amount of nostalgia when we look back at the alleged moderates of the GOP.
