You’re extrapolating based on stories of shootings based on clothing choices due to gangs in LA to gangs in all cities. You want to generalize, the burden of proof is on you.

I’m not generalizing, I’m telling you the fact of life for most cities. I have already posed about a dozen citations backing up my claim that, not an “average citizen” but many people of color are forced into these choices because of the environment created by gangs. But of course a community of soccer moms and middle aged people are really knowledgable about gang culture and the amount of influence gangs have in cities. Meanwhile once again I am the single person here providing handfuls of citations when challenged to back up my statements. But you people keep having so much confidence in how right you are, based on nothing but congratulating each other for having like minded opinions

and a quick edit here because I missed the beginning of your comment the first time, where did I say LA? I took news stories from all over mostly from the Dallas area to make the argument relevant to the city the shooting happened.
