On that note, “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood. Every fucking station played that damned song at least once a day post-9/11 and when I was younger I thought it was a good dash of patriotism. Now I’ve grown so sick of it that anytime it plays on the radio, I immediately change the station or turn it off.

I remember that song ENDLESSLY playing with Reagan rallies in 1984. I detested it so much I stood in line at the polls for an hour to vote for Mondale after the election had been called for Reagan!
