Also, I wonder if Moscow Mitch and his posse have really thought through the possible blowback from “inviting” Obama-Administration officials up before the Senate, and have them keep bringing up sound-bites like “Trump Campaign” and “Russian interference” in every other sentence. I realize the official GOP Party Line is that the “Russian collusion” stuff was all a “hoax” (since King Orangeanus has pronounced it so), but I really question their wanting to bring this issue back up - before the election….

I get the impression this is apologia for the faithful to keep them in line. They’re not actually going to hold hearings (McConnell is not stupid, he’s evil). But stringing along “we’ll hold hearings soon” like it’s the Second Coming the 27% will stay engaged and enraged.
