Why is it sickening, Charles? Really. Why? Obama likes this guy because he likes this guy’s politics. What, are you shocked? Surprised? Disappointed? I look at that photo and I see exactly what I knew I’d see from a President Obama. Don’t you? What in the world did you expect him to do when he met Chavez? I really mean that. Did you expect something different, perhaps some aversion to Chavez’s fascist tendencies? Why would you expect that when the expectation of precisely what is shown in that photo is so much more rational and reasonable? Really, how did you think Obama would act upon meeting his very first Latin American dictator? What in any of Obama’s campaign rhetoric, Senate record, “community organizing,” and behavior since assuming office would suggest to you that he would be anything but absolutely delighted to shake Chavez’s filthy little hand?
