McDonald’s needs to separate its advice website into three sections to avoid such embarrassment:
1. The 47%, For people actually working in the restaurants who are not the location’s chief manager. This would feature advice on how to scrip by and avoid tips while hosting a Union Thug Attack of the Month column as well.
2. The 52%, for store manages and most of those who work at corporate HQ and the offices of larger franchises. This would have a tipping page with some of the ‘rich people’ stuff deleted, and would also host tips for holiday decorating.
3. The 1%, with a full tipping guide, including the chauffeur, and some lovely holiday baking ideas from Anne Romney.
