My dad was an ad/pr director in NY during those days. He didn’t drink. He had an arrangement with all the bartenders and waiters where the “Mad Men” lunches took place to bring him a Schweppes Bitter Lemon with a twist while the rest of the gang got sloshed.

I figured that someone had to stay sober.
