Biden’s actually been talking about that. It’s a legitimate worry for people on both sides of that border and it’s a personal issue to me since part of my family comes from the ROI-NI border. I’m for unification but I do not want the return of sectarian violence.

ROI has really been transformed since the days of sectarian violence. After all, the prior Taoiseach was gay. So it’s possible that the citizens of NI would be comfortable with the new secular ROI.
