Well the never-ending MA election/special-election cycle keeps on chugging (thanks Ted). Scott Brown leaning towards running (if he doesn’t it will be a Dem cake-walk. If he does and loses, that would be a big political setback for him). Ed Markey is the only announced candidate. My district Congressman Stephen Lynch is considering running against. And Deval Patrick to announce the Kerry’s replacement today (Barney?). All politics is local.

Maybe MA is doing this as a sort of national grift scam. Keep holding special elections to suck in PAC money and such from out of state since it will be spent in the state.
