I haven’t called my Fox News watching Dad, because I’m really afraid he likes Trump & I had hoped I wouldn’t be messing with our relationship so soon before 2016.

I have to call him this week though.

If I were you, I’d try to avoid talking politics with him. I had a really hard time discussing the 2008 election with my grandfather because he couldn’t stand Obama and I really think ti was racially motivated. I loved the man dearly and he was very sick during this time but for a lifelong Democrat and fellow opponent of the Iraq War to suddenly start supporting McCain. It really made me wonder. And no I am not saying that all opponents of Obama are racist but I knew my grandfather and his prejudices.
